A resident of Jupiter, FL, Lee was born and raised in Greenwich Village, NYC surrounded by other artists & writers. She attended Pratt Institute, NYU, The New School and the Accademie di Belle Arti in Rome. 

She has spent most of her professional career as a Creative Director and Product Designer most recently for the Smithsonian. She has illustrated two books, Rare Words and Words At Work and one of her paintings Frenzy, has been featured on the cover of Disturbed Sleep. 

She has painted her entire life.
